Mechanical Assembler
**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** Join a dynamic production company as a Mechanical Assembler, where you will be responsible for assembling workout and gym equipment including ellipticals, weight racks, and tension weight machines. You will perform a variety of tasks to assemble, prepare sub-assemblies, and move completed units, ensuring each of the 32 different machines meets quality standards. Responsibilities + Complete assembly of various models of machines following established procedures. + Move machines as required. + Verify completed machines meet quality standards and initial paperwork. + Use manual and electric pallet jacks. + Perform other duties as assigned. Essential Skills + Ability to lift up to 50 pounds consistently. + Ability to bend, twist, or turn repeatedly throughout the shift. + 6 months of previous work experience required. + Preferably 6 months of previous assembly or manufacturing experience. + Proficiency with power and hand tools; mechanically inclined. + Ability to operate small air, hand, and electric tools. + Ability to read work instructions and drawings. + Effective communication skills. + Ability to accurately read a tape measure. + Good memorization skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Good work history, even if not in manufacturing. + Versatility to be trained on multiple assembly lines. Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is in a modern, well-lit manufacturing facility that is not air-conditioned, so it may get hot in the summer. Employees work in organized assembly pods consisting of 3-4 people, focusing on teamwork and cross-training in various areas. This area is the newest part of the building, offering a fairly nice setting. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
