**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler**
Job Description
Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler where you will perform intricate and diversified assemblies and subassemblies of electromechanical or hydraulic components. This role requires a keen ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering sketches, and involves precise fitting, adjusting, and aligning requiring close tolerances. You will also perform final check-out tests of various assemblies and subassemblies using hand tools, machine tools, and test equipment.
Responsibilities
+ Read, interpret, and understand blueprints and engineering sketches (10% of time).
+ Assemble and subassemble mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical parts and equipment of both standard and complex nature, including some prototype work (45% of time).
+ Perform standard and difficult adjusting and fitting (10% of time).
+ Conduct standard and non-standard tests (20% of time).
+ Maintain all functions following safety procedures and practices, ensuring the work area and equipment are kept in a neat, clean, and orderly manner.
Essential Skills
+ 2-3 years of mechanical assembly experience.
+ Ability to read and understand blueprints and engineering sketches.
+ Proficiency in using hand tools and some machine tools and/or test equipment.
+ Experience in intricate fitting, adjusting, and aligning requiring close tolerances.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school graduate or equivalent training obtained through experience or an apprenticeship program in trade or occupation.
+ Must provide own tools including drive sockets, open-end wrenches, box wrenches, and Allen wrenches.

Work Environment
Work in a clean assembly production environment, focused on government/DoD products. The role involves assembling products that contribute to safety and are utilized globally in various military applications.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Upper Chichester, Pennsylvania.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
