**Job Title:** **Mechanical Assembler***** **Pay: $16-20/hour** Job Description We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler for the Manufacturing Assembly of industrial pump systems. This position is contract-to-hire and requires the ability to interpret blueprints, use pneumatic tools for mechanical assembly, and conduct quality assurance through product testing. Candidates with previous pump assembly experience are highly preferred. Responsibilities + Interpret and follow blueprints for pump assembly and service. + Use pneumatic and hand tools to assemble pump systems. + Perform quality assurance testing on completed products. + Align pumps and work independently on assembly builds. + Disassemble and reassemble pumps for service using blueprints. + Demonstrate thorough knowledge of centrifugal pumps, including components like impellers, bearings, and shafts. + Utilize pick lists to complete assembly tasks. Essential Skills + Proficiency in mechanical assembly and the use of pneumatic tools. + Ability to interpret blueprints. + Experience with centrifugal pumps. + Knowledge of pump components such as impellers, bearings, and shafts. Additional Skills & Qualifications + 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment. + Possession of Steel Toe Boots for the first day of work. Why Work Here?
