Job Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Assembler with at least one year of experience in mechanical assembly within an electronic or mechanical manufacturing environment. This position is a six-month contract-to-hire opportunity, requiring candidates to pass a drug test.
ResponsibilitiesRead and understand assembly drawings.Assemble and build mail automation equipment.Use both hand and power tools to assemble equipment.Work independently and within a team, depending on the project.Shift: 7am - 3:30pm (Lots of OT, working till 5pm and frequent Saturdays)Essential SkillsAbility to read assembly drawings similar to easy-to-read blueprints.Recognize parts such as pulleys, bearings, springs, and gears.Identify hardware like screws, bolts, nuts, washers, and snap rings.Experience using both hand and power tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsCandidates with strong mechanical skills and organizational capabilities.Excellent communication, punctuality, and detail orientation.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is a manufacturing setting that is climate-controlled and emphasizes a strong team dynamic. The role is full-time, first shift, from Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with the possibility of required overtime and weekend work without advance notice.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, Texas.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
