**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** Join our dynamic team as a Mechanical Assembler where you will engage in brazing copper to copper piping using an oxyacetylene torch. You will work on custom units, requiring you to cut piping to length and braze according to customer specifications. This position involves interpreting blueprints and assembling housing for racks, with a significant amount of physical activity such as bending, kneeling, and twisting throughout the day. **Responsibilities** + Brazing copper to copper piping using an oxyacetylene torch. + Cutting piping to specified lengths and assembling according to customer needs. + Interpreting and working from blueprints. + Assembling housing for racks. + Engaging in physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and twisting. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical assembly experience. + Proficiency in brazing and working with hand tools. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Experience with general labor tasks and using a tape measure. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 3+ months of mechanical assembly, complex machine operation, or construction experience. + Mechanical aptitude, demonstrated through various work experiences such as plumbing or welding. + Ability to perform MIG welding on mild steel if required. + Experience in repairing machinery or automotive work is beneficial. **Why Work Here?** This position offers the opportunity to train in other areas such as brazing, quality, and function testing. While the workplace is kept clean, expect to get dirty due to the nature of the work. Work hours are Monday-Thursday from either 5:00am-3:30pm or 6:00am-4:30pm. Although there is no air conditioning, fans are available to maintain airflow. Steel-toed shoes and long pants are required attire every day. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
