Job Description
As a Mechanical Assembler, you will play a crucial role in assembling pumps used in the semiconductor manufacturing industry. Your responsibilities will include following work instructions, drawings, or pictures to assemble and install mechanical components, installing pumps into frames, and wiring pumps, motors, and controls. This role involves the use of hand tools, power tools, air tools, and torque tools to build entire vacuum pump systems from parts and components. This is a swing shift position, with regular scheduled hours from 2:15pm to 10:15pm, Monday through Friday.
ResponsibilitiesAssemble and install mechanical components using work instructions, drawings, or pictures.Install pumps into frames and wire pumps, motors, and controls.Use hand tools, power tools, air tools, and torque tools effectively.Build entire vacuum pump systems from start to finish using parts and components.Essential SkillsProficiency with hand tools and power tools.Experience in mechanical assembly or related mechanical job.Ability to read and interpret work instructions, schematics, and blueprints.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in automotive mechanics or as a repair technician is considered an asset.Familiarity with using a tape measure.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Join a clean and organized light industrial environment where pumps used in the semiconductor industry are cleaned and refurbished. While some departments use light chemicals, the overall environment is not noisy enough to require ear protection.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $26.40 - $26.40/hr.
