Job Description
As a Mechanical Assembler, you will work under the supervision of the Assembly Manager in a state-of-the-art, clean facility, assembling large systems for various industries. This role requires keen attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.
ResponsibilitiesFollow the work process steps using Visual Knowledge System (VKS).Assemble products according to specifications.Retrieve and hang materials on the painting line.Remove and stack parts ensuring quality assurance.Secure parts using electric and pneumatic tools.Package parts for shipment.Install screws, bolts, and studs into metal parts.Operate crimping machine.Ensure quality standards are met according to procedures.Mask parts to be exempt from painting according to client specifications.Supply materials to operators using manual or electric pallet jacks.Transport materials to other departments.Lift metal parts weighing up to 50 pounds.Essential Skills1-2 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.Proficiency with hand and power tools.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times per day.Professional or general experience with electric tools, especially drills.Mechanical aptitude and industrial manufacturing experience.Ability to read and understand assembly plans.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent.Positive attitude and ability to lift 50 pounds.Capability to meet deadlines and align productivity with organizational performance indicators.Skills in adaptation, learning, and problem-solving.Attention to detail, precision in technical information, and organizational skills.Advanced bilingual skills in French and English are an asset.Mechanical knowledge is a nice-to-have.Job Type: Contract to Hire positionLocation: Chateauguay, Quebec.Shift Schedule
