**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking an enthusiastic Mechanical Assembler to join our team. This entry-level role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced professionals, assembling boards using hand and power tools, and contributing to the assembly of E house platforms, side walls, and roofs. The ideal candidate will have the ability to read basic assembly drawings and a mechanical inclination, with a willingness to learn and grow within the company. **Responsibilities** + Read and interpret blueprints and schematics. + Assemble boards using hand and power tools. + Work closely with the electrical assembler in the assembly process. + Mount cabinets and assist in assembling onto the E house platform. + Help the electrical assembler with wire pulling. + Operate, or learn to operate, an overhead crane safely. **Essential Skills** + 1-3 years of mechanical assembly experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. + Ability to read and understand schematics and drawings. + Proficiency in using hand and power tools. + Mechanical aptitude. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience performing mechanical assembly in a manufacturing environment. + Familiarity with mechanical schematics. + Experience with electrical assembly and wiring is a plus. + Troubleshooting skills. **Why Work Here?** Our company is a family-owned business that values internal promotions and personal development. The production team consists of approximately four individuals, and the site is non-union. We provide safety glasses as part of our personal protective equipment. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of New Lenox, Illinois. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
