**Job Description**
The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for performing line component assembly and individual sub-assembly, material and final washing, rework and repair operations, and pallet loading. You will assist in maintaining quality and manufacturing processes to meet company objectives and achieve customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will be trained to hook up pumps to specific devices for testing.
**Responsibilities**
+ Prepare work by studying job packets and work instructions.
+ Utilize available parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials required to manufacture and test products.
+ Examine parts for correct fit and assemble parts and subassemblies according to work instructions.
+ Verify specifications through visual inspection, automated measuring equipment, and final test equipment.
+ Demonstrate capability to meet standard productivity levels.
+ Proactively resolve problems related to meeting specifications by communicating with Line Leads or Supervisors.
+ Document actions by completing production and quality forms.
+ Escalate issues that prevent standard work execution to Line Leads.
+ Initiate programs and operate test stands.
+ Assist Engineering in troubleshooting general issues.
+ Maintain product quality by following established procedures and customer requirements.
+ Promote and maintain a clean and safe work environment by complying with procedures, policies, and regulations.
+ Wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.
+ Participate and contribute to team efforts by working towards daily metrics.
+ Maintain daily housekeeping to promote a clean and productive environment.
+ Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Line Lead or Supervisor.

**Work Environment**
This role involves standing throughout the day and is part of a smaller team on the second shift in the Production Assembly area. Expect exposure to a manufacturing environment, including oils, cleaners, loud noises requiring hearing protection, moving parts, equipment, and coolants. Eye protection is required in all plant work areas, along with slip-resistant safety shoes. The facility is a very clean manufacturing environment equipped with air conditioning.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.70 - $19.70/hr.
