**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** The Mechanical Assembler will utilize drawings and blueprints to assemble complex structures, support components, and sub-assemblies primarily for construction projects. These include structures, railings, cables, and framing. **Responsibilities** + Assemble complex structures and support components using drawings and blueprints. + Ensure accuracy in assembly through precise reading of drawings and blueprints. + Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively in the assembly process. + Measure components accurately with a tape measure. + Provide assistance in various shop tasks as needed. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints. + Skill in using hand and power tools such as drills and saws. + Experience in woodworking and construction projects. + Ability to accurately measure components with a tape measure. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Previous experience as a shop helper is advantageous. + Understanding of structural assembly processes. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy a supportive and family-like environment with opportunities to be cross-trained in other fabrication areas. The company manufactures a range of products including park benches, playground equipment, and fitness equipment, serving clients nationally. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vancouver, Washington. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
