**Aerotek is hiring Mechanical Assembler's! ($27+/hr)** **Job Description** Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler, where you will be responsible for building and assembling furnaces using a variety of hand and power tools. You will work closely with customer blueprints and schematics to complete projects, ensuring high precision and quality. **Responsibilities** + Utilize drill motors, jig saws, Sawzall, and set up and operate stud guns. + Read and interpret standard documentation such as blueprints, sketches, bills of material, and routings. + Understand pertinent data including required dimensions, tolerances, shapes, descriptions, notes, symbols, etc. + Work within close tolerances using appropriate measuring devices. + Plan layout, parts positioning, component fit-up, assembly sequence, and equipment. + Set up, adjust, and operate pipe cutting and threading equipment. + Apply pipe fitting techniques, procedures, installation, and application. + Dismantle, straighten, reshape, and reassemble components or assemblies to specification. + Verify proof of conformance of finished product to specifications and complete build checklists. **Essential Skills** + Proficiency in layout and blueprint reading. + Experience in mechanical assembly and machine building. + Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems. + Skill in using hand and power tools. + Understanding of welding and torque tools. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with vacuum and atmosphere product lines. + Ability to clean and prepare components prior to assembly. + Knowledge of seals, vacuum grease, silicon seal, gaskets, sealants, pipe dope, and Teflon tape. + Capability to perform tank, pump, and water system assemblies. + Experience in equipment teardown and preparation for shipment. **Why Work Here?** Take advantage of full health, dental, and vision insurance, plus a 401(k) with company match. Be prepared for a very hot work condition during summer. Collaborate with 1-2 colleagues while assembling heat treat furnaces. Shifts available: 1st shift from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, and 2nd shift from 4:00 pm to 2:30 am, Monday to Friday, with Saturday hours. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.00/hr.
