Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team. As a leader in robotic automation and material handling equipment, we manufacture sophisticated machines for the Food and Beverage and Chemical industries. You will be part of a dynamic team responsible for building and assembling high-quality equipment.

ResponsibilitiesUtilize machine drawings, assembly drawings, controls schematics, and relevant bills of materials to proficiently build according to specifications and problem solve where needed.Engage in the reduction and elimination of non-value-added work throughout the organization.Proficiently use hand tools for structural assembly, mechanical drive assembly, fluid control assembly, guard and cover assembly, mechanical assembly, and simple electrical assembly.Complete quality assurance checks for Blue Books.Provide accurate documentation including labor reporting, material issues/returns, material moves, and material scrap reports.Execute inventory re-ordering policies, including Kanban.Prepare equipment for shipment, including machine teardown.Essential SkillsProficiency in mechanical assembly and the use of tape measures.Ability to read and interpret blueprints.Experience with hand tools and power tools.General labor and assembling skills.1+ year experience in mechanical assembly.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a clean, well-lit facility during the first shift from Monday to Thursday, starting at 5:30 AM with a 30-minute lunch break. Voluntary overtime is available on Fridays or Saturdays, with potential for involuntary overtime communicated on Mondays. Assemblers work in groups of 2-6 and may be required to work on platforms 20ft high and 70ft long using Milwaukee tools.

This position is based out of Randolph, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $23.50/hr.
