Job Description
As a Mechanical Assembler, you will play a critical role in assembling semi-finished products to complete machine assemblies of conveyor systems. You will work on the 3rd shift, from Monday to Thursday, 6:30 pm to 5 am, in Canton, OH.
ResponsibilitiesPerform mechanical assembly of semi-finished products to complete machine assemblies of conveyor systems.Add various components, nuts, bolts, couplings, conveyors, and more to fabricated structures.Utilize hand, measurement, and power tools effectively.Follow work instructions and read blueprints to ensure accuracy.Log notes at the end of the day in the computer for the following shift.Essential SkillsProficiency in using hand, measurement, and power tools.Ability to follow work instructions and read blueprints.Mechanical inclination with experience in assembly, machine building, construction, or automotive mechanics.Experience in troubleshooting and repair.Knowledge of conveyor maintenance and system fitting.Additional Skills & QualificationsKnowledge of most hand and power tools.2+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or automotive mechanics.Good measurement skills and attention to detail.Experience with reading work instructions.Nice to have electrical skills.Computer skills are a plus.Familiarity with the metric measurement system.Why Work Here?

Work in a state-of-the-art facility with a brand new addition in 2023, offering a clean, well-lit, and climate-controlled environment. The company is an independent global manufacturer of spiral conveyor systems for packaging, printing, and bottling, with 135 employees in Canton and plans for growth. The workplace includes team leads in each department to assist and train employees. Shifts offered include days (1st shift), afternoon (2nd shift), nights (3rd shift), and weekend shifts, with opportunities for training and development.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.79 - $23.08/hr.
