Job Description
As a Mechanical Assembler, you will engage in brazing copper to copper piping using an oxyacetylene torch on a daily basis. Each unit is custom, requiring you to cut piping to the required length and assemble it according to specific customer needs. The role involves interpreting blueprints and contributing to the assembly of structures that house these racks. Expect a physically active role that includes frequent bending, kneeling, and twisting.

ResponsibilitiesBrazing copper to copper piping using an oxyacetylene torch.Cutting piping to specified lengths and assembling them according to customer needs.Interpreting and working from blueprints as required.Assisting in the assembly of housing structures for racks.Engaging in physical activities such as bending, kneeling, and twisting throughout the day.Essential SkillsMechanical assembly experience.Proficiency in brazing techniques.Ability to read and interpret schematics and blueprints.Experience with hand tools and general labor tasks.Ability to accurately use a tape measure.Additional Skills & Qualifications3+ months of experience in mechanical assembly, complex machine operation, or construction.Mechanical aptitude demonstrated through prior work experience.Experience in fabrication roles such as welding can be beneficial.Background in farm machinery repair or automotive work is advantageous.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
Work in a large manufacturing building as part of a team of 3-4 people in a fast-paced and well-lit environment. While the workspace is kept clean, expect to get dirty due to the nature of the work. The work hours are from 5:00am to 3:30pm or 6:00am to 4:30pm, Monday through Thursday. The facility lacks air conditioning, but fans are used to maintain airflow. Steel-toed shoes and long pants are mandatory attire.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
