**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** Join a premier PCB manufacturing company specializing in Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) located in Hillsboro. We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler to contribute to our Mechanical department, ensuring product builds are prepared and finished to meet IPC-610 Class 2 standards before quality control review. This role operates on a day shift with flexible hours as needed. **Responsibilities** + Prepare and finish product builds for the Mechanical department prior to quality control review. + Audit kits from Prep/Insert to ensure correct customer-approved components and counts. + Follow the weekly build/ship and production schedule and communicate any discrepancies to the supervisor. + Prepare customer fixtures and finish the buildup of circuit boards according to specifications. + Crimp various cable assemblies and ensure proper labeling of circuit boards before quality control. + Communicate any quality issues to the supervisor within fifteen minutes of discovery. + Train co-workers up to Assembler I level and adhere to ESD procedures. + Maintain a clean production area and ensure proper documentation is available. + Use certified equipment and report any training needs to the supervisor. + Order production consumables and keep safety stock through the supervisor. + Participate in team meetings and assist in training co-workers as requested. + Follow all safety requirements, report safety incidents, and adhere to chemical and MSDS procedures. + Stay updated on industry technology, trends, and knowledge, sharing insights with the company. + Occasionally lift and carry up to 20 pounds and perform repetitive motion tasks. **Essential Skills** + 2-5 years of assembly experience. + Proficiency in assembly, electrical, and mechanical tasks. + Ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams. + Familiarity with hand and power tools. + Computer proficiency. + High School Diploma. + ITAR compliance. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with electrical wiring, crimping, and packaging. + Knowledge of schematic and control panel assembly. + Troubleshooting skills. **Why Work Here?** We offer a full range of benefits, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, a retirement plan, paid time off, and paid holidays.
