Job Description
Join our dynamic team as a Mechanical Assembler, where you will be part of either the Sub Assembly or general assembly processes. You will learn to add metal brackets, use hand and power tools, and work with various hardware on window units. Your role will include testing caulking products to ensure proper sealing of windows, painting materials, handling insulation, wrapping final units, and inspecting for any flaws throughout the assembly and manufacturing process. This position involves working with large pieces of glass and sheet metal, requiring precision and attention to detail.
ResponsibilitiesAdd metal brackets, fasteners, clips, or other hardware onto window units using hand and power tools.Use caulking guns to fill spaces in window units.Perform testing on caulking products to ensure proper sealing.Paint the ends of materials and work with insulation.Wrap netting around final units and inspect for assembly flaws.Handle large pieces of glass and sheet metal, assembling units approximately waist-high and 30 feet long.Essential SkillsMinimum 3 years in a mechanical role.Knowledge of power tools and construction installation.Why Work Here?
