**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled individuals for the role of Mechanical Assembler. The successful candidate will be responsible for the mechanical assembly of various railroad repair equipment and machines. This position requires the ability to follow build sheets and blueprints to perform accurate assemblies. Additionally, you will work with various hand and power tools to secure assemblies and will be responsible for inspecting and troubleshooting any equipment malfunctions. **Responsibilities** + Perform mechanical assembly of railroad repair equipment and machines. + Follow build sheets and blueprints for accurate assembly. + Utilize hand and power tools to complete assembly tasks. + Inspect and troubleshoot equipment for any malfunctions. **Essential Skills** + 2 years of mechanical assembly or mechanic experience. + Ability to lift up to 50lbs consecutively. + 2 years of experience reading and interpreting blueprints. + Ownership and supply of personal tools such as wrenches, sockets, and tape measure. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Candidates with experience from companies such as Putzmeister or Rexcon are highly desirable. **Why Work Here?** Join a team-oriented company that values its employees and offers a family-like atmosphere. Starting pay of $18/hr. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of RACINE, Wisconsin. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
