🔧 Job Title: Mechanical Assembler – 1st & 2nd Shift Openings

💵 Pay: Up to $24/hr (1st shift) / Up to $26/hr (2nd shift incl. 15% shift differential)

About the Role

We're hiring Mechanical Assemblers to join a clean, climate-controlled facility in one of three specialized departments. You’ll help build critical components—brakes and clutches used in surgical robots, hospital beds, MRI machines, farm equipment, and more—that power industries from healthcare to government.

This is a Contract-to-Hire opportunity with 8 immediate openings across 1st and 2nd shifts:

🕗 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 8-hour days🌙 2nd Shift: Monday–Thursday, 10-hour evenings + optional Fridays for OT

Assemble mechanical components using hand and power toolsInterpret blueprints and follow detailed work instructionsEnsure parts meet high-quality standardsUse calipers and micrometers for precision measurementMaintain safety and cleanliness standards—gloves providedDocument work accurately as needed

👷 What You Bring

1+ years of experience in mechanical or electro-mechanical assemblyFamiliarity with calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools (6+ months)Ability to read blueprints and work independently with a mechanical mindsetBonus if you’ve got: hobby auto mechanic experience or medical/electrical assembly

🏭 Work Environment

This is a well-organized, low-volume/high-mix production facility working primarily with mechanical brakes, gear motors, and drives. You’ll be part of a collaborative team, in a quiet workspace with thoughtfully separated departments—perfect for focused assembly work.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.70 - $26.00/hr.
