**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler**
**Job Description**
Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler, where you will have the opportunity to work across various departments, showcasing your flexibility and willingness to grow. You will be responsible for assembling hatches and panels using hand and power tools, working from blueprints, preparing panels for painting, packaging completed assemblies, and filling orders. As you progress, you will also cross-train in different areas to support where needed.
**Responsibilities**
+ Assemble hatches and panels using hand and power tools such as drills, wrenches, screwdrivers, torque tools, and a tape measure.
+ Work from blueprints to ensure accurate assembly.
+ Prepare panels for painting by inserting insulation and hanging panels on hooks.
+ Package completed assemblies and fulfill orders.
+ Cross-train in various departments to provide support as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ Ability to use hand and power tools.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
+ Experience with mechanical assembly and a mechanically inclined mindset.
+ Capability to lift up to 50lbs.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ High school diploma required.
+ Mechanical aptitude with experience in tasks such as oil changes.
+ Ability to read a tape measure accurately.

**Work Environment**
You will work in a metal manufacturing environment that is similar to an auto body shop. The work schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 5am to 5:30pm, totaling 36 hours. The environment is non-union and requires wearing pants (no sweats or athletic wear) and a short-sleeve shirt or longer, along with steel-toed boots.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brooklyn Park, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.50/hr.
