Job Description
The Manufacturing Operator B plays a crucial role in line component assembly, individual sub-assembly, material and final washing, rework and repair operations, and pallet loading. The operator ensures quality and manufacturing processes align with company objectives to achieve customer satisfaction. Additionally, the operator will be trained to test the assembled pump using specific devices.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare work by studying job packet and work instructions.Use parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials to manufacture and test products.Examine parts for correct fit and assemble parts and subassemblies according to work instructions.Verify specifications through visual inspection and automated measuring/monitoring equipment.Demonstrate the ability to meet standard productivity levels.Proactively resolve problems and communicate with Line Lead or Supervisor for additional resources.Document actions by completing production and quality forms.Escalate issues preventing the execution of standard work.Initiate programs and operate test stands.Assist Engineering in troubleshooting issues.Maintain product quality by following procedures and customer requirements.Promote a clean and safe work environment and wear proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times.Participate and contribute to team efforts by working toward daily metrics.Maintain daily housekeeping to ensure a clean, productive environment.Perform other duties as assigned by Line Lead or Supervisor.Essential SkillsExperience in assembly and mechanical assembly.Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and tape measures.Experience with blueprints.Minimum of 6 months in manufacturing, with preference for previous mechanical assembly experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to resolve problems related to meeting specifications.Effective communication skills for escalating issues.Capability to operate test stands and assist in troubleshooting.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The role requires standing throughout the day shift in a clean manufacturing environment. Exposure includes oils, cleaners, loud noises requiring hearing protection in select areas, moving parts, equipment, and coolants. Eye protection is mandatory in all plant work areas, and slip-resistant safety shoes are required. The shop is air-conditioned.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.30 - $19.30/hr.
