**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler**
**Job Description**
Join our dynamic team as a Mechanical Assembler, where you will build large custom water purification systems. These systems consist of massive piping apparatuses designed to produce reverse osmosis filtration water for various industries, including mines, nuclear plants, sports stadiums, and large commercial buildings. Unlike a typical production line, our job project shop offers a diverse and engaging work environment, where each day brings new challenges and opportunities. Imagine working indoors in an air-conditioned building, collaborating with a construction crew to bring these systems to life.
**Responsibilities**
+ Read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
+ Build and assemble plumbing manifolds using PVC pipe, stainless steel, copper, and galvanized materials.
+ Glue, measure, cut, and polish PVC pipes.
+ Attach brackets and hooks.
**Essential Skills**
+ 1+ year of experience with a tape measure, able to read in inches and centimeters.
+ 1+ year of experience using hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, drills, and wrenches.
+ Ability to read blueprints.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with PVC pipe fitting is a plus.
+ Ability to cut and use a saw.
+ Capacity to lift 50 lbs.
+ Fabricating experience is beneficial but not necessary.
+ Plumbing experience is a plus.

**Work Environment**
Our new production shop features a spacious assembly area, complemented by a small wiring and welding section. Enjoy a relaxed atmosphere where communication is key, and taking a day off is as simple as asking. Utilize a variety of tools and equipment, including PVC pipe fittings, saws, hand tools, power tools, and cutting tools, in a comfortable and accommodating workspace.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chaska, Minnesota.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
