Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembler for an immediate position to join our team on the day shift. The role involves disassembly and reassembly of custom skid-mounted HVAC equipment, requiring expertise in running routes, installing, and brazing/soldering refrigeration piping, air piping, electrical conduit, and cabling. Additionally, the assembler will be responsible for mounting and aligning electric motors, bearings, and compressors onto units and skids.


Must HavesProficiency in using hand and power tools.1-3 years of experience in mechanical assembly.1-3 years of experience running electrical conduit, refrigerant piping, chilled piping, and/or air piping.Forklift operating experience.Pipe brazing/soldering skills.Must possess own tools.

ResponsibilitiesDisassemble and reassemble custom skid-mounted HVAC equipment.Run route, install, and braze/solder refrigeration piping, air piping, electrical conduit, and cabling.Mount and align electric motors, bearings, and compressors onto the unit and skid.

Work Environment

The position operates on a day shift from Monday to Thursday, 6AM to 4:30PM, with the expectation of working overtime on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday when needed. The work takes place in a non-climate controlled manufacturing facility.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, Texas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
