**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** Design and manufacture conveyor systems to enhance the movement of consumer packaged goods, ensuring faster, more reliable, and efficient operations. **Responsibilities** + Prepare work by studying assembly instructions, specifications, and parts lists; gather necessary parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials. + Position parts and subassemblies according to assembly instructions and drawings. + Assemble components by mechanically fastening parts and subassemblies. + Verify specifications by measuring completed conveyor sections. + Maintain equipment operational by completing preventative maintenance procedures and following rules. **Essential Skills** + Mechanical assembly expertise. + Strong mechanical aptitude. + Ability to read and interpret tape measures. + Experience with hand tools such as ratchets, wrenches, battery, and pneumatic operated tools. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Prior experience in mechanical assembly or blueprint interpretation preferred. + Ability to work 1st shift and occasional overtime as needed. **Why Work Here?** Enjoy competitive starting wages, tuition reimbursement for both full-time and part-time employees, and opportunities for upward mobility and cross-training.
