Job Description
The role involves assembling low and medium voltage electrical switchgear cabinets for product manufacturing. As an assembler, you will interpret blueprints or work orders, gather necessary materials and hardware, utilize hand and power tools to follow work instructions, and conduct basic inspections to ensure quality in production.
ResponsibilitiesInterpret assembly and elevation drawings.Construct modular steel cabinets and copper buss assemblies.Read and interpret tape measures.Utilize manual hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and pliers.Operate power tools including drills, impacts, and pneumatic torque wrenches.Essential SkillsAt least 1 year of experience as a Mechanical Assembler, Machine Builder, or Automotive Mechanic in a job shop environment.Knowledge of electrical symbols and schematics.Proficiency in using shop equipment and hand tools.Ability to perform basic math functions including fractions and decimals.Fluency in English for reading, writing, and conversational purposes.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School Diploma or Technical School preferred but not required.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The facility is medium-sized with 60 employees. It encompasses fabrication, welding, wiring, and assembly, all under one roof. The environment is clean, modernly designed, and maintains comfortable temperatures for working.

This is a Contract position based out of St. Charles, Illinois.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
