Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

Perform all aspects of mechanical and electrical assembly, including sealers, heat tunnels, and sub-assemblies. This process involves pulling stock from the warehouse, building devices, performance testing, and troubleshooting errors. Additionally, assist with various shop tasks such as sawing, punch press, machining, deburring, and metal finishing.

ResponsibilitiesAssemble mechanical and electrical devices, including but not limited to sealers and heat tunnels.Read and interpret process documentation, drawings, prints, diagrams, and schematics.Pull parts from inventory to assemble devices.Complete paperwork such as work orders, forms, and checklists.Test, troubleshoot, and inspect assembled products for defects.Recommend updates to assembly procedures and documentation as necessary.Assist in sawing, punch press, machining, deburring, and metal finishing when needed.Maintain accurate inventories and participate in cycle counting.Train other co-workers as needed.Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.Essential Skills6 months of experience following assembly instructions.Proficient knowledge of hand and power tools such as drills, impact drivers, socket sets, and wrenches.Ability to read blueprints and schematics.Mechanically inclined with strong mechanical aptitude.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr.
