Job Description: As a Mechanical Assembler, you will perform manual labor within a production line, assembling industrial air compressor products, associated parts, and accessories. You will also be responsible for packing products according to specifications. This role requires proficiency in assembly techniques and the use of various hand and power tools.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Collaboration: Work as part of a production team to assemble industrial air compressor products and parts.Instruction Adherence: Follow specific work instructions, documentation, and training for your area.Material Handling: Pick up, move, and sort small and large parts.Tool Utilization: Use mechanic tools, basic hand tools, pneumatic and pipe installation tools, and jigs to manipulate parts for assembly.Organization: Sort and place material or items on tables, racks, or bins.Assembly: Assemble small and large parts manually per specifications.Alignment and Testing: Align mating parts, perform rotational alignments, and pressure tests.Installation: Install switches, panels, and lights; cut and make up conduit as directed.Construction: Construct controllers and panels using power drills, drill presses, taps, saws, and punches.Quality Control: Remove extraneous material from molded parts, clean assembled parts, and place them in protective bags or containers.Inventory Management: Help maintain accurate inventory of goods.Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a safe, clean working environment and keep workstation organized.Compliance: Follow safety procedures, environmental guidelines, and company rules and regulations.Improvement Participation: Participate in quality improvement efforts.Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Essential Skills:

Proficiency in assembly techniques.Experience with hand tools and power tools.Mechanical assembly expertise.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

2+ years of mechanical assembly experience.2+ years of experience with hand and power tools.Ability to lift 50 lbs.Capability to stand for 8 hours.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
