Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

As a Mechanical Assembler, you will be responsible for the final assembly and packing of HVAC units. This role, also known as Finishing Assembly or Finishing Associate, involves putting larger pieces together and assembling various components to complete the process.

ResponsibilitiesPerform general assembly for the production line, including all phases of producing commercial HVAC products.Learn to prepare work by studying assembly instructions and parts lists.Assist with positioning and assembling parts and subassemblies by measurements.Learn the specifications verification process.Maintain equipment in operational condition.Ensure a safe and clean work environment.Follow verbal and written instructions accurately.Work on subassemblies components or final assembly of HVAC products.Assist in other departments and areas to meet company and production goals.Perform other duties as assigned by management.Essential SkillsAbility to work with various machines and tools.Attention to detail.Capability to perform repetitive tasks.Prior mechanical assembly experience, minimum of 6 months preferred.Experience using various hand tools, air tools, and measuring tools.Ability to stand for long periods and lift over 40 pounds.Proficiency in using measuring tools, drills, and saws.Good basic math skills.Ability to be trained in other areas.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.Ability to read schematics and drawings.Mechanical Assembly Skills.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

The work environment consists of a large HVAC Unit Manufacturing facility with three buildings dedicated to different stages of production. Building 1 handles Pre Assembly with Sheet Metal Fabrication, Welding, and Electrical Panel Building. Building 2 focuses on Assembly, Brazing, and Electrical Wiring. Building 3 is dedicated to Finishing, Testing, Closing, and Shipping of units. The facility houses 140 employees, including Engineering and Administrative support.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
