Mechanical Assembly Technician

Location: Omaha, NE

Pay: $21.00 – $23.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule:

Monday – Thursday: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PMEvery other Friday: 7:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Mandatory, paid as overtime)You’ll work 36 regular hours weekly, plus 5 hours of OT every other Friday—a great way to boost your paycheck!About the Role

We are seeking an Assembly Technician to join a dynamic team manufacturing lifesaving medical devices for hospitals. In this role, you will assemble disposable medical supplies, primarily plastic components, in a clean-room environment. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and have strong attention to detail.

Key ResponsibilitiesPerform small hand assemblies, including gluing, cutting, and inserting tubes.Apply labels and ensure proper component placement.Complete extensive documentation for product tracking and compliance.Maintain clean-room standards (hairnet, gown, and specialized footwear required).Qualifications1+ year of experience with small hand assemblies (e.g., using tools for small objects, gluing, soldering).Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.Compensation & GrowthEntry Level: $21.00 – $23.00/hourOpportunities for advancement to higher levels with increased responsibilities and pay.Benefits (Upon Full-Time Hire)Health Insurance (75% company-paid for employee, 50% for family)Dental & Vision Insurance (100% company-paid)Life Insurance, Short-term & Long-term Disability (100% company-paid)15 days PTO + 9 Sick Days + 8 Paid Holidays + 1 Floating HolidayWork EnvironmentClean-room setting for assembly technicians.Mandatory protective gear provided.
