Job Title: Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for the mechanical assembly of tank equipment, wiring, and conduit. This role involves performing repairs on units, parts, and materials, as well as reading and understanding schedule and work flow requirements. The assembler will also be responsible for retrieving materials from storage for assembly, inspecting assemblies for conformance to design criteria, keeping tools organized, and maintaining an orderly work area. Additionally, the role includes writing maintenance work orders.

Responsibilities

Assemble mechanical parts and equipment, including wiring and conduit.Perform repairs on units, parts, and materials.Read and understand schedules and work flow requirements.Retrieve materials from storage for assembly.Inspect assemblies for conformance to design criteria.Organize tools and maintain an orderly work area.Write maintenance work orders.

Essential Skills

2+ years of mechanical assembly experience with basic hand and power tools.2+ years of blueprint reading experience.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

1+ year of crane experience (preferred, not required).

Work Environment

The work environment is a large, clean, and organized manufacturing setting. The role is available on 1st shift (7am - 3pm), 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) and 3rd shift (11pm-7am). Overtime is typically every other Saturday, with no mandatory Sundays. The dress code includes steel-toed shoes, jeans, and safety glasses.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60923.20 - $60923.20/yr.
