Job Title: Mechanical AssemblerJob Description

The Mechanical Assembler will be responsible for performing sub-assembly for burn-in test equipment. This role requires the use of power tools and hand tools to assemble units based on blueprints. The position involves standing for most of the day and regularly lifting up to 25 pounds, with occasional lifting of up to 100 pounds using a hoist. The assembler will utilize wrenches, ratchets, torque tools, drills, and rivet guns, and will perform soldering on copper piping.

ResponsibilitiesPerform sub-assembly of burn-in test equipment using power and hand tools.Read and interpret blueprints for assembly tasks.Utilize tools such as wrenches, ratchets, torque tools, drills, and rivet guns.Perform soldering on copper piping.Complete entire sub-assembly independently, not on an assembly line.Stand for the majority of the workday and lift weights as required.Essential Skills1-2 years of mechanical assembly experience.Proficiency in working with small and large parts.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Experience using wrenches, screwdrivers, and pneumatically operated tools.Ability to build units from start to finish.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with blueprints.Experience with brazing/copper soldering.Experience working with industrial-size equipment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a very clean environment with a supportive team of about five members. You will receive training paired with a lead. The standard work hours are from 7 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility in start and end times. You can start as early as 6 am or as late as 8 am, but must work an 8-hour shift and adhere to your chosen schedule. The job involves maneuvering in awkward positions, kneeling, and climbing on units for assembly. The products can be as large as an ice fishing house.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
