**Job Title: Mechanical Assembler** **Job Description** We are seeking skilled Mechanical Assemblers to join our team in one of three different assembly departments. We have 8 openings available across various shifts. As a Mechanical Assembler, you will work with brakes and clutches used in medical companies, farm equipment, and government applications. These components are integral to products like surgical robots, gurneys, hospital beds, and MRI machines. Your role will involve using hand and power tools to assemble mechanical parts with precision and attention to detail. **Responsibilities** + Assemble mechanical components using hand and power tools. + Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions. + Ensure high levels of attention to detail in assembly processes. + Perform assembly tasks in a clean and climate-controlled environment. + Adhere to safety and quality standards while wearing protective gloves. **Essential Skills** + 1 year of mechanical or electro-mechanical assembly experience. + 6+ months of experience with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions. + Mechanical inclination and ability to work independently. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience in hobby auto mechanics is a plus. + Background in medical assembly is advantageous. + Strong mechanical aptitude and familiarity with electrical assembly. **Why Work Here?** Join a growing international company with excellent benefits and opportunities for advancement. The facility is spacious, with well-separated departments, ensuring a comfortable and organized workspace. Assemblers are required to wear gloves to protect against oils and adhesives during assembly. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Shakopee, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $20.70 - $26.00/hr.
