We are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team and assist in maintaining the structural and mechanical operations of our facilities. This position involves working on electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, as well as ammonia systems and controls. The role includes ensuring machinery and equipment are operational and efficient by planning and scheduling daily and weekly preventive maintenance activities.
ResponsibilitiesAssist the facilities manager in ensuring that all facilities are structurally sound, mechanically operational, electrically efficient, and safe.Plan and schedule preventive maintenance activities in coordination with preventive maintenance work sheets.Ensure contract mechanical maintenance services meet specified results and work orders, minimizing future operational problems.Perform essential duties and responsibilities as assigned to contribute to the overall success of facilities maintenance.Complete preventive maintenance requirements on machinery, PLCs, and mechanical equipment, following diagrams, operation manuals, and engineering specifications.Troubleshoot and repair plant systems and PLCs according to procedures.Perform required preventive maintenance on PLCs, including lubrication, cleaning, and filter changes.Follow safety, GMP, HACCP, and all other procedures and policies.Provide communication to all support team members by following proper escalation procedures.Essential SkillsElectrical, pneumatics, and hydraulics experience.Experience with ammonia systems and controls.Ability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment.Strong analytical skills.3 to 5 years of mechanical and maintenance experience.High School Diploma or equivalent.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with troubleshooting GMP equipment.Proficiency in using all hand tools to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment.Welding and schematic reading skills.Experience in machine operating and PLC troubleshooting.Why Work Here?Join a clean and well-managed work environment where you'll have the opportunity to work with great management. Work EnvironmentThis role involves working in a GMP and production environment. Employees will work in afternoon or evening shifts and are expected to maintain a good attendance record. The work environment is clean and supportive, with opportunities for cross-training and skill enhancement.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr.
