Job Description
Join our team as a mechanic and play a vital role in assembling and installing equipment on work trucks. You will be responsible for tasks such as assembling tool boxes, bolting on truck boxes, installing mud flaps, mounting crane and ramp holders, and installing tail lights. Additionally, you will read blueprints and work diagrams to install hydraulic equipment and parts, perform testing and inspections, and carry out necessary wiring.
Responsibilities
Install and assemble equipment to work trucks, including beds, plows, and tool boxes.Assemble tool boxes to the back of trucks.Bolt on truck boxes.Install mud flaps to trucks.Mount crane holders and ramp holders to trucks.Install tail lights.Read blueprints and work diagrams to install hydraulic equipment and parts to trucks.Perform testing and inspections on installed equipment.Perform wiring as needed.Essential Skills
Minimum of 2 years of mechanical aptitude in roles such as auto mechanic, diesel mechanic, military mechanic, industrial mechanic, or similar.Ability to read blueprints or work instructions.Proficiency in using hand, power, and air tools.Ownership of basic hand tools, including socket sets, SAE socket sets, tape measure, and ½” drive impact drill.Steel toes or composite toe shoes.Ability to lift 50 lbs.Skill in reading a tape measure.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with 12V wiring.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sharonville, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
