Job Description
We are hiring skilled mechanics to build concrete pumping equipment. You will read and interpret blueprints to assemble components for concrete pump trucks or trailers. Additionally, you will perform a variety of related mechanical assembly duties on prototype units, utilizing hand and power tools to build each unit.
ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints to assemble components for concrete pump trucks or trailers.Perform a variety of related mechanical assembly duties on prototype units.Utilize hand and power tools to build each unit.Follow work instructions from the Build Book program on the computer to assemble all required parts.Lay out truck details per engineering prints on a job-by-job basis.Perform final assembly of all units, including hoods, electric, lights, and stickers to customers' specifications.Install hydraulic lines and fill them with oil in preparation for required testing.Prepare trucks for sub-frame assembly by disassembling, measuring, repositioning parts, and reassembling units according to procedures.Test the assembled parts or products to ensure they are functioning properly and are of good quality.Comply with workplace health and safety policies, safe work practices, and procedures.Maintain tools and the workspace in good condition.May perform reasonably similar or related duties as assigned.Essential SkillsExperience with hydraulics, brake line, and chassis work.Proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics.Previous experience with heavy mechanical equipment.Ability to work flexible hours when needed.Comfortable with lifting up to 50 pounds.Basic math knowledge.Own set of tools.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience with heavy mechanical equipment is preferred.Ability to learn blueprints and schematics.Flexibility to work additional hours when needed.Why Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
