Our client, a leader in the food processing industry, is seeking a dedicated Meat/Poultry Packer to join their team. As a Meat/Poultry Packer, you will be an essential part of the production department supporting the packaging and quality assurance processes. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Meat/Poultry Packer

Location: Lakewood, NJ

Pay Range: $20.14 per hour 

Shift: Monday - Friday 11:00 AM - 7:30 PM 

What's the Job?

Assist in packing meat and poultry products according to specified standards Ensure products are properly iced and handled in a cold environment around 35 degrees Operate packaging equipment and perform quality checks for weight and appearance Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to safety protocols Use protective gear, including steel toe or composite shoes, from day one

What's Needed?

Ability to work in a cold/wet environment around 35 degrees Basic mathematical and computer skills Physical ability to lift boxes weighing between 10 to 40 pounds Attention to detail and strong work ethic Availability to work Monday through Friday, 11 AM to 7:30 PM
