*The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity as a RN- MDS Coordinator / Part-time at the Montana Mental Health and Nursing Care Center.* The*Montana Mental Health Nursing Care Center (MMHNCC)*in Lewistown is a licensed residential facility for the long-term care and treatment of persons who have mental disorders and who require a level of care not available in the community. *Job Overview:**Registered Nurse MDS Coordinator Part-time:*The RN / MDS Coordinator (PT), performs care area assessments, care planning process plans, and ensures the residents' well-being and health are being monitored and recorded. (Thermometer, EKG, BP equipment, glucometer, otoscope, oxygen equipment, bladder scanner, oximeter). · Ability to complete MDS process. · Ability to communicate both verbal and in writing. · Ability to perform work effectively under pressure. · Ability to work effectively with staff and residents. · Ability to effectively monitor nursing care provided the residents. · Knowledge and ability to use computer and MDS software in order to carry out the Patient Care Planning Process as required.
