Are you ready to put your experience to Work at **Northrop Grumman?** If so, our **Defense Systems (NGDS)** wants you to join our team as a Staff Project Management professional and join the Mission Data Management (MDM) Operating Unit (OU) team within the Weapons Integration and Mission Solutions Business Unit. You will be responsible for operating in a team environment with the program and functional teams across the operating unit to lead proposal operations for the MDM OU. You will be expected to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels. You need to possess, and be able to demonstrate, excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational and planning skills, and effective problem-solving capabilities. **This position is located in Orlando, FL** . Other onsite locations may be considered. **Responsibilities:** + Oversees and manages the operational aspects of proposals and serves as liaison between program management, IPT leads, pricing, contracts, global supply chain and business management. + Leads or supports proposal efforts at the operational unit level; gathering appropriate resources and personnel and assigning tasks. + Ensures proposal schedule milestones are met. Gathers basis of estimate, cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals to meet request for proposal (RFP) specifications. + Compiles and analyzes historical data and estimate build up to support proposal efforts. + May participate as a member of the negotiating team. + Assesses issues and develops resolutions to meet schedule, quality, and objectives. + Supports new business pursuits by working with business development, capture and program management teams to develop winning strategies. NGSkills **Basic Qualifications:** + A minimum of 19 yrs related experience and a High School diploma. A minimum of 15 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 13 years of related experience with a master’s degree may also be considered. + Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations. + Experience with DoD proposals. + Experience with creating and maintaining schedules. + Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Professional experience working in supply chain administration, contracts management, proposal management/support, contracts administration, program management and/or business management. + Work experience in government contracting and requirements (contractual clauses, terms and conditions, EVMS, price/cost evaluations, teaming agreements, etc.). + Experience with FMS and direct commercial proposals and contracts. + Experience with intercompany proposals an work orders. + A current Secret or higher security clearance. Primary Level Salary Range: $122,100.00 - $183,100.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
