This role requires precision handling of delicate wafers and the use of specialized semiconductor inspection equipment. You will work in a clean, controlled manufacturing environment supporting fiber optic networking technologies used in broadband, fiber-to-the-home, and data centers. ResponsibilitiesPerform characterization and inspection of InP-based epitaxial growthsHandle fragile InP wafers using tweezers or vacuum wandsConduct device inspections using optical microscopes, XRD tools, and other semiconductor equipmentDocument inspection results and support quality and production targetsFollow safety, cleanroom, and quality control procedures Qualifications and RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED requiredMinimum 1 year experience in semiconductor, electronics, or medical manufacturing (3 years preferred)Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Windows OSAbility to work with delicate equipment and materialsMust pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen Benefits and PerksCompetitive hourly pay with shift differentialMedical, dental, and vision insuranceWeekly payPaid holidays (per eligibility)Training opportunities and potential for career growth Your New OrganizationYou will join a leading designer and manufacturer of fiber optic networking products serving fast-growing markets such as cable broadband, fiber-to-the-home, and internet data centers.
