We are looking for an MBA Product Management Intern to join our Product team for a high-impact internship. This role is not observational. You will own a clearly defined problem space, work closely with senior Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Analytics teams, and contribute directly to real product outcomes.
The Critical Tasks You Will Perform
1. Own a Defined Problem Space
Take end-to-end ownership of a specific product problem (e.g. funnel drop-offs, operational inefficiencies, platform adoption gaps, AI-enabled experiences)Break down ambiguous problem statements into clear hypotheses, opportunities, and product betsDefine success metrics and trade-offs aligned with business and customer outcomes2. Drive Product Discovery & Strategy
Conduct structured problem discovery using data, user insights, and stakeholder inputsEvaluate multiple solution approaches and recommend a clear product directionArticulate product decisions through well-structured PRDs, narratives, and exec-ready artifacts3. Leverage AI as a Product Thinking Partner
Use AI tools (e.g. LLMs, copilots, analytics assistants) to:Accelerate user research synthesis and insight generationExplore solution space, edge cases, and alternative designsImprove product reasoning, clarity, and speed of iterationDemonstrate AI fluency not as a feature builder only, but as a force multiplier for product thinking4. Collaborate Like a Full PM
Work closely with Engineering, Design, Analytics, and Business stakeholdersParticipate in product rituals (planning, reviews, retrospectives) as an active contributorBalance speed, quality, and pragmatism in a real-world production environment5. Deliver Tangible Outcomes
By the end of the internship, you will be expected to deliver:
A clearly articulated problem and product recommendationA validated solution direction (via data, experiments, or stakeholder alignment)A roadmap or execution plan that could realistically be taken forward post-internshipQualificationsWhat Essential Skills You Will Need
Be in the first year of a full-time or 2-year MBA program.4 to 10+ years of pre-MBA professional experience.Proven track record of managing complex projects and delivering measurable business results in a fast-paced environment.Possess AI-first mindset.Ability to complete a 10-12 week internship at the assigned office in Jakarta and to return to a MBA degree program after completion of the internship.The internship program will commence on the 1st of June 2026.Additional InformationLife at Grab
