A lovely summer role in leafy Wimbledon, supporting a warm, welcoming family as they adjust to life with their second baby.
Job Summary:
The family are ideally looking for a maternity nurse who can offer a combination of 24-hour and daily support across 5–6 days per week for 5–8 weeks after the birth. They have a 3-year-old daughter, so someone who can be inclusive of her and maintain a calm, positive atmosphere. Mum hopes to breastfeed but she is keeping an open mind about this. They would love a maternity nurse who can gently support her, guide her depending on how the baby is doing, and adapt to what feels right for the family rather than approaching with fixed ideas. This is very much a role for someone flexible, open-minded, and family-centred — someone who can observe, guide, and shape the early weeks around the needs of both mum and baby, helping the whole household settle into a rhythm that works for them.
Candidate Requirements:
• Open-minded, flexible and inclusive of the whole family
• Confident with newborn care and supportive of breastfeeding while adapting to mum’s needs
• Comfortable engaging positively with an older sibling
• Warm, calm and able to guide without imposing fixed routines
• Strong experience as both maternity nurse and nanny is desirable
Accommodation:
Guest bedroom for live-in duties, with own bathroom shared with the baby.
