Job Summary
This role is suited to an experienced maternity nurse who is confident working with knowledgeable parents and providing calm, professional support during the early postnatal period within a private household. The family are long-standing clients of Eden Private Staff and are keen to secure maternity support well in advance, having previously experienced challenges when booking late.
The parents are French and Brazilian, have lived in London for many years, and are now based in Stockholm. As experienced parents, they are seeking a maternity nurse who can work intuitively alongside them, offering structured support without over-direction. The role may initially begin in London before relocating to Stockholm and is expected to last approximately 3–4 months. The family are open to employing two maternity nurses if required and value alignment in approach and values within their household.
Job Specification
Supporting newborn care and routines in line with the parents’ preferences• Assisting with feeding as plans are established
• Supporting the mother’s rest and recovery
• Working confidently alongside experienced parents in a collaborative manner
• Maintaining a calm, gentle, and professional presence within the home
Candidate Specification
Proven experience as a maternity nurse, ideally supporting multiple births within established families• Confident, calm, and gentle approach
• Fluent English essential
• UK or EU passport holders preferred
• Values-led professional who works respectfully within a private household
• Excellent references from previous maternity roles
