**Job Title: Materials Supervisor** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Materials Supervisor to coordinate material and production mix requirements to effectively meet production schedules. This role requires a strong focus on safety, cost control, and collaboration with other departments. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in shift supervision processes and be able to train, develop, and evaluate employees while maintaining high standards of safety and housekeeping. **Responsibilities** + Coordinate material and production mix to meet production schedules. + Expedite the movement of in-process and finished goods. + Maintain safety and good housekeeping standards. + Exercise cost control measures. + Coordinate and cooperate with other departments to meet production schedules. + Train, develop, and evaluate employees. + Ensure frequent contact with others outside the work group. + Comply with local and national labor agreements. + Effectively use personnel, material, and equipment to support SPQRC initiatives. + Support plant in achieving Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness, and Cost goals. + Be willing to work any assigned shift, including daily, weekend, and holiday overtime. + Support and implement QS9000/ISO14001/(GMS) Global Manufacturing System compliance processes. **Essential Skills** + Experience in production, supervision, and production management. + Knowledge in process improvement and Six Sigma. + Understanding of material flow, logistics, and inventory management. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word). + Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent. + Minimum 2 years related experience in an automotive or manufacturing environment. + Excellent written, mathematical, and analytical skills. + Good technical understanding of processes and machinery. **Why Work Here?** Join a dynamic environment where your contributions directly impact the success of production schedules and safety initiatives.
