As part of Magna International, Magna Energy Storage Systems Group develops and manufactures innovative fuel tank systems and components for heavy-duty trucks and passenger cars, specializing in plug-in hybrids. Job Responsibilities:

In charge of the inbound supply chain of an JIS production plantPlan, Forecast, Schedule and Release supplied material demands to meet our production requirementsUse ERP System (SAP) as the Primary means of creating, monitoring and communicating schedules, inventory quantities, releases and forecastsPoint of contact for domestic and international suppliersResponsible for empties and return shipments to the vendorsFollow-up on delivery timing and expedite the material as needed through line deliverySupports other departments with supplier development and evaluationInitiate and follow up with vendors, carriers and customs authorities - daily, hourly, off shifts as required

Requirements for Job Holders

Logistics/Supply Chain Diploma/Degree preferred or 3+ years’ experience working with Suppliers/Inventory Control/ Customer Service or a combination of education and experienceAbility to work in a team as well as working independentlyAutomotive experience highly desiredAbility to multi-task/prioritize work with little supervisionExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent mathematical skills, good computer skills and attention to detailExperience with SAP R/3 preferredProficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Power Point, Word)Awareness, Unity, Empowerment:
