RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure continuous improvement and maintenance of the Materials Mafact scoreMaintain and enhance the Plastcoat PFEP (Plan for Every Part)Oversee and update the Plastcoat warehouse layoutDevelop and maintain Plastcoat Bills of Materials (BOMs) based on engineering changes and new program requirementsEnsure compliance with IATF standards, Mafact guidelines, and customer-specific requirementsContribute to initiatives aimed at achieving the Materials VisionProvide backup support to team members as neededPrepare NAFTA/USMCA documentation accurately and on timeMaintain and validate Materials Power BI reports, ensuring data accuracy and conducting daily, weekly, and monthly reviewsAttend designated meetings and actively participateUphold confidentiality and integrity in all tasksEngage in APQP activities as required to support the successful launch of new programsPerform all job functions in a safe and healthful manner, abiding by all health, safety and environmental rules and regulations, promoting safety in the workplaceComply with the requirements of CTPAT/PIPConduct business in an ethical manner in compliance with the Magna Code of ConductReport all accidents/incidents and unsafe conditions/behaviorAdhere to applicable quality systems and IATF-16949 standardsAdhere to and promote the Employee Charter and work within the rules, regulations and guidelines of the Plastcoat Employee HandbookParticipate in and support Continuous Improvement initiativesMaintain work area in accordance with the principles of 5S and operate daily within these standardsEnsure work area is kept neat and organizedPerform other duties as requiredQUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION:
APICS CPIM or Supply Chain and Operations Management CertificateSix Sigma certificationEXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2 years of experience with materials or warehouse functionsSKILLS:
