Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented Material Technician with inventory and warehouse experience. The technician will be responsible for counting inventory, receiving deliveries, preparing material orders, loading and unloading furniture, checking for accuracy, and using a tablet to take pictures when necessary.
ResponsibilitiesCount inventory accurately.Receive deliveries and verify contents.Prepare material orders efficiently.Load and unload furniture with care.Check accuracy of received and shipped items.Utilize a tablet to capture images and log data.Report to the materials manager on a regular basis.Essential SkillsExperience in inventory control and material handling.Proficiency with iPad and inventory management software.Ability to operate a forklift safely.Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience in shipping and receiving processes.Capacity to work independently and as part of a team.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The role involves working both inside a shop and outside in the yard, with varying temperatures depending on the weather. The work environment may include trailers that are not air-conditioned. Standard working hours are from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with flexibility required for summer hours starting at 5:00 AM. Employees must adhere to a dress code that includes steel-toed boots, work pants, and a t-shirt. The company provides safety glasses and gloves.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fontana, California.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $23.00/hr.
