Material Management Analyst II
Job Description A client of Insight Global is seeking a Material Management Analyst 2 to support materials planning and supply chain execution activities. This individual assists in coordinating and scheduling the on‑time delivery of parts and commodities by following established schedules and procedures. The role supports audits and analyzes data from multiple sources to verify accuracy related to delivery schedules, inventory levels, and material requirements. The analyst helps reconcile data discrepancies to minimize supply chain disruptions, maintains and updates materials management information systems, coordinates the flow of information among internal and external stakeholders, and releases orders to fabrication or assembly organizations to initiate manufacturing activities. The position works under general supervision. Additional responsibilities include interpreting contracts and their requirements, managing transactional orders, supporting bid and proposal activities, and assisting with the development of production proposals. The Material Management Analyst 2 may participate in or manage projects using approved project management techniques, initiate updates to supporting processes and documentation, and provide low‑level training related to engineering and production procedures. The role also provides technical and administrative support to meet regulatory, production, and process requirements, communicates with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance, and contributes to identifying supply chain issues, trends, and potential solutions of limited scope. Skills and Requirements - Experience reading and understanding contract language - Basic knowledge of Boeing support equipment and hardware - Ability to obtain Secret Clearance - Proficient in MS Office and Excel (VLOOKUPS, Pivot Tables, Data Tables, Generating Charts,) Experience with project management such as scheduling, resource management, and performance measures Experience in Product Support/ Logistics Concepts Experience with material management processes
