**Job Title: Forklift Operator and Material Handler** Job Description Join our team as a Forklift Operator and Material Handler, where you'll work in a dynamic warehouse environment handling power and telephone equipment, cabling, boxes, and more. Your duties will include reading work orders using an RF scanner, operating a sit-down forklift, receiving, storing, and loading materials, conducting inventory checks, and preparing packages with shipping labels. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Minimum of 1 year of material handling or warehouse experience. + At least 1 year experience with RF scanners. + 6 months to 1 year of forklift operating experience. + Ability to lift up to 50-70 pounds occasionally and 30 pounds frequently. This is a fully on-site position in Des Moines, Iowa, with a small team of 6-7 people. The role operates on the 2nd shift, Monday to Friday, from 2:30pm to 11pm, with minimal overtime. The dress code includes jeans, shorts, a work-appropriate shirt, and steel-toed boots. The company fosters an easy-going, family-oriented atmosphere. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, Iowa. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $16.00/hr.
