Overview

 The Material Handler II is responsible for processing and coordinating customer orders for shipment while supporting daily material handling operations. This role works closely with inventory, customer service, planning, quality, and carriers to ensure accurate, timely shipments and proper documentation for domestic and international orders. 

Skills and Experience High school diploma or GED (or equivalent work experience)

Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or material handling

Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office

Ability to analyze inventory availability, order holds, and shipment status

Experience coordinating freight (small package, LTL, TL, will call)

Knowledge of shipping documentation, including commercial invoices (international preferred)

Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification

Ability to lift 50+ pounds with assistance and work in physically demanding conditions

Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred)

Familiarity with bills of materials (preferred)
