Our client, a leading organization in manufacturing and warehouse operations, is seeking a Material Handler II to join their team. As a Material Handler II, you will be part of the Warehouse Support team supporting production and internal customer needs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, adaptability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Material Handler II
**Location:** Peachtree Corners, GA
**Pay Range:** $24.00
**Shift:** Days, Mon-Fri, 8:00am - 4:30pm; _OT may be required_
**What's the Job?**
+ Assist in basic material handling duties within the warehouse to support production operations.
+ Receive, store, and organize materials, ensuring inventory accuracy through system and physical counts.
+ Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move large crates and pallets safely.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams via email and in person to coordinate material movements and transactions.
+ Maintain warehouse safety, cleanliness, and adherence to 5S principles, supporting a safe working environment.
**What's Needed?**
+ Minimum of 1-2 years of related experience in warehouse or material handling roles.
+ Experience operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus.
+ Proficiency with computer systems including MS Office, SAP, Agile, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including walking, bending, and climbing ladders.
