Material Handler I
**Job Title: Material Handler I** Job Description This role involves handling and maintaining the flow of materials and products across four key areas: Outbound, Receiving, Kit Build, and Inventory Control. You will use an RF Scanner to process inventory within the JD Edwards system, receive products, and place them in the correct locations on the shelf. You will also initiate the picking process by scanning orders, find and package products, and prepare them for shipment via FedEx. Occasionally, you will open kits and assemble them. Cross-training in all areas is essential to support shoulder replacement parts. This position remains consistently busy and requires active engagement throughout the shift. Responsibilities + Handle and maintain the flow of materials and products in designated areas according to guidelines. + Utilize RF Scanner to process inventory within the JD Edwards system. + Receive products and accurately place them on designated shelf locations. + Initiate picking process by scanning orders and packaging products for FedEx shipment. + Occasionally open kits and assemble as required. + Cross-train in all areas to support shoulder replacement parts. + Potentially operate manual pallet equipment as needed. Essential Skills + 1+ years of experience in a warehouse setting preferred. + Knowledge or willingness to learn RF Scanner technology. Work Environment The work environment is clean and regulated by the FDA as it is a medical device manufacturing setting. It is climate-controlled with temperatures ranging from 72 - 78 degrees. Products handled weigh up to 20lbs. You can have a phone in your pocket and one earbud in. The warehouse is organized but has tight racking and alleys. Candidates will work independently for 80% of the day and in groups for the remaining 20%. The warehouse becomes particularly busy between 4pm and 8pm as shipments are prepared for FedEx at 6pm and 8pm. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Bloomington, Minnesota. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr.
